Making the perfect pancakes can be a bit challenging. The key is a really good recipe.
So, here’s my foolproof family recipe for fluffy pancakes.
1 cup flour
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1 tbsp white vinegar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl
Add milk, vinegar, egg, vanilla and oil to dry ingredients
Whisk until the batter is smooth
Heat non-stick griddle or non-stick frying pan on medium heat
Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake
Cook until bubbles form on the top side (about 2 minutes), then flip and cook the other side
Serve warm with maple syrup and fruit.
